Did you realize that an estimated 65% of American adults wear glasses?  That is more than 143 million people.  While they provide an important corrective visual function for us, we often think of them more for their role as a personal fashion statement.

A new exhibition at the Design Museum Holon in Israel explores the long history of eyeglasses through the collection of optometrist and collector Claude Samuel. It also takes a look at what the future of eyeglasses may look like.
